If your friends asked you to jump out of a plane...?

My friend and I have our birthdays coming up in August. She will be turning 21 and I will be, well, nevermind how young I will be ;-) She really wants us to go skydiving. At first, my reaction was "NO WAY, JOSE!" I am not really afraid of heights or free falling so what the heck. I went paragliding in the Swiss Alps in 93 and thought it was simply the most rewarding experience of my life. The birds-eye view of the terrain was extraordinary. The arial view of Dallas might be lacking but it certainly does sound like fun. I believe you go tandem your first time anyways so I will be with a pro. I probably won't tell my mom until after I go, though. No sense worrying the parental units.

DO IT! Everyone I know who has gone skydiving has said it was one of their best experiences in their life. Hell, I'll eventually do it myself. Just do it, and don't forget the camera.
