Skills:
Don’t wish it were easier; wish you were better. Don’t wish for less problems; wish for more skills. Don’t wish for less challenges; wish for more wisdom. – Jim Rohn
This was a great foundation but I have modified it to represent what I believe:
Stop wishing it were easier; tap into your strength. Cease wishing for less problems; search for the right perspective. Rather than desiring less challenges, engage your inherent wisdom and intuition for guidance.
“Wishing” does not promote personal development, empowerment, or inspiration (like Hope or Faith). It is a useless term reserved for the magic of fairy tales. Such a child-like lens for viewing the world should be abandoned the day one learns that Santa Claus is fictional. Now that I have so many young neices and nephews, I have contemplated that while it is cute to make a wish when you blow out your candles and can be reserved for special occasions...It has the possibility to perpetuate superstition in every day life versus living with purpose. With everything going on in the world today...I have found that too many people are choosing "wishing" (myself included) as opposed to adapting and evolving.

Glad to see you're back blogging! Now, you're not saying we should stop wishing on birthday candles are you? ;-)
